My name is Patrick Davidson and I've been an independent animator for over 20 years. I'm currently creating my "Expat Animator" YouTube series, where I try and help beginners, hobbyists, and independent animators create 2D animations. 

I am a big proponent of working on personal projects. My own personal projects are the animated Web series "Traveling Gringos" and the animated short film (and later graphic novel) "TREP".

I also have a degree in graphic design and have worked in the fields of animation, illustration, video editing, print publishing, TV graphics, film titles, and web design. I’m also an ex-pat from California now living in Costa Rica with my wife and three dogs.
