Additionally, the course focuses on teaching beginner improvisation (soloing), empowering you to express yourself through exciting drum grooves. The ultimate goal of The Music Coach Drum Program is to enable you to fully express your musical identity through this versatile musical instrument.
Program Overview
I have created this program to facilitate the commencement of your drumming journey in an effective and enjoyable manner. It is suitable for individuals with a passion for drumming and access to a functional drumset. The program includes over 2.5 hours of instructional and practice videos.
Course Structure
The course is structured in a straightforward format:
- Each lesson comprises a video that introduces a new concept or technique.
- Subsequently, a practice video with voiceovers and graphics enables you to play alongside the instructor in "real time".
Lesson Content
The program consists of twelve sets of lessons and practice videos designed to enhance your understanding of melody, rhythm, harmony, and improvisation. Additionally, it features a "Jam Room" equipped with a virtual band, allowing you to accompany them at varying speeds. As a supplementary benefit, there are five animated videos that simplify music theory, explaining the fundamental components of music.
Program Outcome
Upon completion of this course, you will have the confidence to play the drums independently as well as collaboratively in diverse musical contexts.
